About my art
My process to create these layered tissue-paper collages starts with my hand drawn figurative sketches. I then create the pieces using my unique analog-to digital-to analog technique: This process is an intentional bridge between my background in graphic design and my deep-rooted passion for fine art. Each piece begins as a freehand sketch I manipulate digitally before printing onto delicate sheets of tissue paper. I build my piece through a painstaking layered-tissue paper collage technique, using color overlays, paint, and pen to create a luminous final image.
